Cinetubs Ltd Terms and Conditions

Cinetubs Limited requires all persons hiring equipment provided by Cinetubs Limited to have read and understood the contents of this document. We require acceptance of these terms in writing. Receipt of payment for hiring equipment assumes that you have read and agreed these terms.If you do not understand any information contained within this document, or require further clarification on any of the points below, please speak to your contact at Cinetubs Limited.For the purposes of these terms and conditions:-

  1. The registered office of Cinetubs Limited (company number 12930725, registered in England & Wales) is 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.
  2. The Hirer is the company, firm or persons specified above, including their successors or personal representatives.
  3. Equipment includes all bubble tents, hot tubs, gazebos, projectors, projector stands, screens, lighting, decor, accessories and other hire equipment booked for the hire period.
  4. Goods means any equipment that we supply to you, the customer.
  5. Order means the customer’s order for the Services from Cinetubs Limited.
  6. If the customer requests any specific requirements, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any information or specification you provide is accurate.
  7. All services are subject to availability.
  8. We reserve the right to make changes to the services which are necessary to comply with any applicable law or safety requirement. We will notify you of these changes.
  9. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Cinetubs Limited reserves the right to refuse hire at any point if the following terms and conditions have not been adhered to.

Extent of Contract and Title

Cinetubs Limited will retain the title and ownership of the equipment.

No conditions or warranties other than specified herein shall be implied or deemed to be incorporated to form part of the contract.

Suitability and Delivery

  1. The equipment shall be deemed to be in good order and in accordance with the customer’s satisfaction, unless notification is received by Cinetubs Limited on the day of delivery.
  2. No warranty is given that the equipment is suitable for the purposes of the customer

Customer Responsibilities

  1. The customer must provide us with access to any premises under their control as required, and provide us with all information required to perform the Services.
  2. If the customer fails to comply with any of the above, Cinetubs Limited will suspend the Service until it is remedied by the customer, or if the customer fails to remedy it following our request, Cinetubs Limited can terminate the Contract with immediate effect on written notice to you.

Accidents or injury

  1. The customer acknowledges that the use of hot tub, electrical, audio visual and outdoor equipment hired from Cinetubs Limited is at the customer’s own risk.
  2. Cinetubs Limited will not be liable for accidents, injuries, or death caused by the misuse of our hot tubs and/or any other Equipment – this includes falling over on wet surfaces or falling in or out of the hot tub, use of drink, drugs etc.
  3. If the customer has any health concerns or is on medication, they must consult their doctor before using a hot tub or utilising equipment hired from Cinetubs Limited.

Health and Safety

Always leave the hot tub plugged in and switched on when not in use in order for the filtration / heating systems to work.  If it is accidentally switched off or a power failure occurs, the hot tub will need to be switched back on and reset as shown in the setup demonstration.

Whilst using the hot tubs

  • DO NOT wear lotions, oils, makeup or skin creams in the hot tub
  • DO NOT use the hot tub if you have had diarrhoea within the last 14 days
  • DO NOT exceed the maximum number permitted in the hot tub
  • DO NOT allow children under 4 to use the hot tub
  • DO NOT leave children unsupervised
  • DO NOT allow children (and others) who are unable to keep their faces out of the water to use the hot tub
  • DO use the toilet and shower before entering the hot tub
  • DO NOT Use oils, soap or any detergent in the water
  • DO NOT Use glassware in the tub
  • DO NOT Eat food or Smoke in the tub
  • DO NOT wear any jewellery in the hot tub as this can cause them to discolour
  • DO NOT Continuously press ‘Lights’; On some hot tubs this can activate a ‘Strobe’ setting
  • DO NOT Jump into the water or play ball games
  • DO NOT Sit, stand or lie on the lid of the hot tub at any time; or allow children on the lid
  • Bathers are discouraged from swallowing the hot tub water
  • It is recommended that bathers do not exceed 15 minutes immersion at a time
  • It is recommended that the hot tub is not used after a heavy meal or while under the influence of alcohol or sedatives
  • Intended users suffering from diseases of the heart and circulation, skin conditions, are immuno-suppressed, subject to fits, or taking drugs affecting the cardiovascular or nervous systems, should not use the hot tub without first seeking medical advice
  • Pregnant women are advised to consult with their doctor before using a hot tub
  • Cinetubs Limited reserve the right to cancel any booking where there is a potential health & safety risk to the customer, their guests or the public. We will always provide as much notice as possible in these circumstances.
  • Do not allow dogs or other animals inside the hot tubs
  • Do not allow naked flames inside or within one metre of the hot tubs
  • DO lift the Lid as per the instructions given
  • DO replace the lid after use. This is what keeps the water hot when not in use
  • DO brush any mud/grit from your feet before entering the water
  • DO replace the filter before each use as instructed


The hot tub is installed with sufficient treatment chemicals for the duration of your hire

If you notice any of the following, please contact Cinetubs Limtied for advice:-

  • Discoloured water

  • Strange smells

  • Electrical faults or water leaks

Damages to your property

Cinetubs Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss or damages to your property through hiring any of our Equipment, regardless of culpability.  This includes any water damage or weight damage to structures, fixtures, fittings, garden or grass areas as a result of the hot tub location.

It is the customer’s full responsibility to make sure the area where the hot tub is going to be placed is suitable and will not cause any damage.

We do not recommend that hot tubs go indoors.


Risk of damage to, or loss of, any Goods will pass to the customer when the Goods are delivered to the customer.

Cinetubs will not be liable for any delays in the supply of Equipment materials and services by it or for any losses whatsoever due to any such delays howsoever caused.

While Cinetubs shall make every effort to assist the customer with technical know-how and experience and shall provide general advice and service Cinetubs shall not guarantee that the customer will achieve his intended result by the use of hired Equipment and Services.

Circumstances beyond the control of Cinetubs and Customer.

In the event of any failure by either party because of something beyond its reasonable control:

  1. the party will advise the other properly as soon as reasonably practicable; and
  2. the party’s obligations will be extended so far as is reasonable, provided that that party will act reasonably, and the party will not be liable for any failure which it could not reasonably avoid, but this will not affect the customer’s above rights relating to delivery.

Delivery and Collection Policy

  1. Cinetubs Limited will deliver, set-up and collect Equipment.
  2. Delivery and collection slots will be confirmed with you 24-48 hours before the delivery date, once driving routes have been confirmed. Please ensure that you are available on the day of delivery and collection, during normal working hours.
  3. Upon delivery and set up, Cinetubs will be there to guide you through any Equipment and controls, and advise on anything else needed for your rental.
  4. Please ensure that there is nearby power supply within 10 metres, and a nearby water supply (hose or tap) for any hot tub hires.
  5. If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other unfortunate situation, then Cinetubs will inform the customer of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Should this occur, the customer is entitled to either a full refund or booking for an alternative date.
  6. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is adequate space for our products, and that the desired location is accessible and clear of any mess or debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.
  7. On collection, we will need access to the area and electricity source.
  8. The customer is wholly responsible for ensuring that all the Equipment is returned in the condition that it was delivered. If any Equipment is returned damaged or severely soiled, we will either charge for repair or, if the Equipment is deemed unrepairable, claim the entire replacement value. We do not allow the customer to obtain their own repair services.
  9. Any Equipment which is not available at collection, must be returned to us and a hire charge will be applied for the extra time period.
  10. Please note the hot tub must be emptied prior to collection on the last day.
  11. A one-off charge of £25 will be payable if the delivery address is outside a 10 mile radius from Hailsham.  This will be notified at the time of booking.

Payments and Security Policy

  1. You can make a booking online via the Cinetubs website or by contacting Cinetubs directly via telephone. A £75 refundable security deposit is required as well as full payment for the hire at the time of booking.  The deposit will be returned to after the Hire period.
  2. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring the security of the Equipment at all times. Any costs arising from the Equipment not being secured, are chargeable to the customer and will be deducted from the security deposit.
  3. Should any Equipment become damaged during any hire period, the repair and if necessary, replacement costs will be deducted from the customer’s security deposit. If the repair and potential replacement costs exceed the deposit balance, then the customer will be wholly responsible for payment of the remaining balance.


The booking becomes binding once;

  • Cinetubs Limited has received payment for equipment.
  • Cinetubs Limited has confirmed the dates of the customer’s hire period.     

During the hire period a request can be made to extend the hire for an additional 3 nights.  This is subject to availability and at Cinetubs’ discretion.  Any request must be made in writing by 12.30pm on the day before collection.                                                                                                    

Venue Booking

The customer is responsible for ensuring the chosen Venue is reserved in the customer’s name for the dates and times specified on the booking form. Cinetubs Limited is not liable for any issues or errors regarding Venue booking.  

Cinetubs Limited requires full access to the customer’s chosen Venue.  

The customer must surrender the Equipment a minimum of two hours prior to the Venue’s specified departure time to allow Cinetubs Limited time to dismantle the Equipment. More time may be required for multiple Equipment hired. Please note any additional Venue costs incurred for late departure must be paid in full by the customer.  

The customer must ensure any Venue fees are paid in full prior to departure.  

Cinetubs Limited is not responsible for the Venue in any way including, but not limited to, its facilities, location or access. Any issues with the Venue must be addressed with the Venue owners by the customer.  

Vouchers and offers

  1. The offer code must be entered into the voucher code field on the basket page and applied for the discount to be deducted from the order
  2. Offers can be amended or withdrawn at any time and are subject to availability
  3. Additional terms and conditions for each voucher (for example expiry date) are explicitly detailed on each voucher
  4. A voucher is redeemable in its entirety only and may not be redeemed incrementally
  5. A voucher cannot be combined with other offers, except as permitted by Cinetubs
  6. Please note that a maximum of one voucher is redeemable per household and only one voucher can be presented at one time
  7. The vouchers have no monetary value
  8. Vouchers are not valid for commercial use
  9. Items already reduced in price, displaying a ‘Was’ and ‘Now’ price are also excluded from voucher offers

Water Maintenance and Chemical Treatment for hot tubs

  1. The customer is responsible for the filling and emptying of the hot tub. An initial shock dose of chlorine will be provided to the customer to ensure water sanitisation.  A care kit will be provided to the customer for the duration of the hire; containing clear instructions, contact information and all necessary chemicals and equipment to maintain sanitisation of the water. Once setup is complete any maintenance is the customer’s responsibility.
  2. Cinetubs Limited will not be held liable for general water maintenance during the hire period. Please do check the chlorine and PH levels daily using the test strips provided and add the provided chemicals accordingly. Allow at least 1 hour after dosage before using the hot tub.
  3. Each hire is supplied with filters.
  4. Please be careful to not allow chlorine to come into contact with skin. Do not ingest or inhale it. Chlorine should be stored in a cool dark place, away from children.
  5. Cinetubs Limited thoroughly clean and sanitise all hot tubs between each hire.
  6. If you have an allergy to chlorine please seek medical advice before using the hot tub.

Water filling and heating times

Filling the hot tub with water takes around 1-3 hours using a standard garden hose, this may take longer depending on your water pressure. Once the hot tub is filled with water, it takes around 12 -36 hours to heat the water to optimum temperature.

Please keep the insulated lid on when the hot tub is not in use, to help preserve the heat and for the safety of animals and young children.

Maintenance, Care and alterations

The customer shall be responsible for maintaining the Equipment in the same condition and working order as on the date of delivery and for ensuring the equipment is in good and clean condition on the completion of the hire period. Any loss, damage or additional cleaning costs are chargeable to the customer

If the customer has issues with the hot tub, despite having followed instructions, then please contact Cinetubs Limited immediately for telephone support. We will not be held responsible for time lost using the hot tub if we are not called immediately.

If Cinetubs Ltd are unable to resolve the issue over the phone, then a visit from Cinetubs Limited may be required. Any misuse of the equipment, or failure to follow the required instructions to maintain the hot tub, that subsequently result in a technician visit, will be charged at £40 + delivery, and is subject to our availability at that time. Any visits required for errors that are outside of your control, are free of charge.

In the event of severe weather conditions including wind, frost, snow, hail, heavy rain and storms, the customer will take action to minimise damage to the equipment including ensuring that all Equipment is secured.

Connection to Mains Services

Connection and disconnection to mains services on site are the responsibility of the customer and must be performed by a competent operative.

Electrical Equipment

Any electrical Equipment should be used with plugs and/or sockets as fitted.

No Equipment shall be modified without prior written consent from Cinetubs Limited.

The customer shall be responsible at all times to arrange a proper supply of electricity for use with the Equipment and ensure that the Equipment shall at all times be properly earthed. Damage to Equipment from incorrectly connected or disrupted supply will be charged.

Bubble Tents

  1. Our bubble tents are inflatable and come with doors and windows that can be easily opened during your hire. The bubble tents are not a permanent structure and can be damaged in very severe weather conditions.
  2. Bubble tents are kept inflated by an air pump. The pump constantly renews the air inside and this prevents humidity.
  3. Bubble tents require a minimum of 2 people to install and to take down. We will fully install the fixture on delivery.
  4. Should the bubble tent become damaged during the hire period, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs. If the bubble tent is damaged beyond repair, the customer is responsible to cover the replacement cost of £900.

Projector and audio visual equipment

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the projector and audio visual equipment at the time of collection or delivery. If there are any items missing or there is any visible damage to the projection Equipment, the customer should inform us immediately, before Cinetubs leave the customer’s premises. Cinetubs Limited will endeavour to replace missing items or damaged projection equipment.

Should the projector and related equipment become damaged during the hire period, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs. If the items are damaged beyond repair, the customer is responsible to cover the replacement cost of £700.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel Your booking at any time before the start of the Hire Period subject to the following:

  • For bookings cancelled more than 14 days before the start of the Hire Period, there will be no charge and Your Deposit will be refunded in full.
  • For bookings cancelled less than 14 but more than 7 before the start of the Hire Period, we will retain Your Deposit in full
  • For bookings cancelled less than 7 before the start of the Hire Period, we will retain Your Deposit in full and charge a further cancellation fee of 50% of the total Price.
  • For bookings cancelled on the day that the Hire Period begins, we will retain Your Deposit and the balance of the full Price will also be payable.
  • We may, at our sole discretion, reduce or waive any of the charges detailed above if your cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances.
